The Lucifer Golfing Society was formed in 1921 by Sir Hedley le Bas and friends, the idea was to create an exclusive Gentleman’s club with the principal aim of promoting friendship and goodwill through golf within the Commonwealth. Over a century later and the society still revolves around this principle, with a Commonwealth Tournament taking place once a year, with Commonwealth golfers travelling from all corners of the Globe to compete, and enjoy camaraderie amongst peers.

The Commonwealth Tournament  is a major event in any keen Golfer’s Calendar, spanning over three consecutive days, two of which are spent on some of Britain’s finest courses, with  the Commonwealth dinner to round off an amazing event.
